The volcano has an abandoned sulphur mine. This programme is suitable as acclimatization for more difficult mountains.

 

Start at 5.100 m and walk up to the summit, at the top there are views of the nearby Bolivian lakes.

> Altitude difference: 1.000m

 

Cone shaped mountain, known to be one of the sacred mountains of the natives.

 

Start a hike at 4.800m, reaching the ridge of the mountain before the summit. (Snow expected in the time of Bolivian winter January – March)
